P&W GTF Engine MRO Network Expanding to Eight Engine Centers by 2020

The world-class, global network of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facilities that service Pratt & Whitney's GTF engines will expand to eight engine centers by 2020. Pratt & Whitney is a division of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

GTF engines are currently maintained by a network of the industry's leading MRO companies, including Pratt & Whitney, MTU Aero Engines (MTU), Japanese Aero Engines Corporation (JAEC) and Lufthansa Technik (LHT). As engine volume grows, the network will continue to expand to include other worldwide airline and MRO facilities, most recently with the addition of Delta TechOps.

"The goal of the network is to provide the highest quality maintenance support for GTF engine customers, and we are excited to see the network continue to grow and include other world-class MRO facilities," said Eva Azoulay, vice president, Engine Services, Pratt & Whitney. "Today, the growing GTF network spans three continents, ensuring world-class service for every GTF customer, regardless of their location."
